Elafonissos is one of the most beautiful islands in Greece. It can be characterised as an exotic island as the white sand and the turquoise waters makes you believe that you are in Maldives. You can take the ferry every half an hour to take you to the island and the trip lasts only 15 minutes.

Limeni, the Mavromichali’s family erstwhile settlement, is one of the most beautiful and traditional coastal village of Mani. Located in just 5 km from Areopoli and approximately 27 km from Gythion. The village is very picturesque and of a unique beauty as it combines harmoniously the sea and the unique landscape.

A plentiful supply of water in Talanta kept the town’s 11 watermills busy for decades and provided a good living for the townspeople. Thousands from the surrounding region used to come there to grind their wheat. The water was channeled as far as Plytra on the coast. Even the town’s name is an indication of its former wealth (talanta is an ancient word for a unit of weight and for a monetary unit).

Tenaron is the southest part of coastal Europe. Here existed according to Pausanias, the temple of Tenariou Poseidon, who was worshipped especially by Lakones, and it became the center of the “Brotherhood of Freelakones”.

Monemvasia is located on a small island off the east coast of the Peloponnese. The island is linked to the mainland by a short causeway 200m in length. Its area consists mostly of a large plateau some 100 metres above sea level, up to 300 m wide and 1 km long, the site of a powerful medieval fortress. The town walls and many Byzantine churches remain from the medieval period.

Kosmas is a mountainous village in Arkadia near Leonidio. It is built at 1119 m height. in a scenery full of green, a lot of small rivers and a forest of fir trees. It has been characterized as a traditional settlement due to the fact that it has retained its image and its local character.
