We are positioned on the leisurely sandy beach of Mavrovouni which is 5km long and has the advantage of never being crowded. The sea and the beach are always incredibly clean, one of the reasons the endangered sea-turtles caretta caretta choose this beach to lay their eggs. Our beach is ideal for swimming, running, windsurfing, kitesurfing, yoga, tai chi, meditation, long walks with your dog, volleyball, frisbee, paddleball & seashell picking.

Experience Gythion Bay
Camping Gythion Bay is full of spacious and shady places where you can place your own tents, caravans, or motorhomes. For those who don’t have their own camping means we rent out Glamping and Camping tents, ideal for those who travel light or want to encounter the camping experience for the first time.
Your Equipment
If you have your own camping means, through our online booking system you can ensure a pitch of your sizing preference. Even though we welcome walk-in guests, in August we cannot guarantee a pitch of your preference without a reservation.
Rent Equipment
We offer complete rental accommodation through our Navajo & Igloo Tents bookings where you can enjoy the comfort and ease of everything included. Our rental extras allow you the luxury of arriving at your destination without having to bring mattresses, electrical cords, sheets, pillows or even a pet carrier.

Whether you are a small group of friends or family, a larger group of campers, schoolmates, or any other interest group we offer a choice of accommodation or spaces to rent, catering facilities of our restaurant and bar, and a number of organized facilities that will make your camping experience memorable.

Our landscape has been designed specially to allow our younger campers freedom of space, enjoying the pool, playground, play station and activities while parents can overlook at a safe distance. We encourage the use of bicycles, skates, and scooters within the campground. In high season everyday kids of all ages can undertake an abundance of activities organized by our staff members while parents can enjoy a delicious meal, refreshing drink or cool off with a cocktail on the sun loungers of the pool.

Within Gythion Bay, you can do several activities for adults and kids, such as beach volley, windsurfing and kitesurfing, darts, table tennis and others. You may also rent mountain bikes to explore the region around the camping.
For our younger friends, there is a fully renovated playground and a baby playground for ages 0 to 4. Also, there are activities organised by a specilized person between 14.00 and 21.00 o’clock. Those activities include body painting, environmental education, dance contest and others.
Tour of Peloponnese
Peloponnese, the southest part of mainland Greece, enjoys summer and invites you to enjoy it too, with all your senses from early April until late October. Swimming in crystalline seas, endless hours of relaxation on exotic beaches and secret coves. Walking through archaeological sites and paths that gaze out at the sea, tavernas on the waterfront, gorges with spring water, green paths and amazing nature all over it. Peloponnese welcomes everyone! The blue sea, the exotic beaches, the bright Aegean light, the hospitable locals, the unique architecture and the culture make Peloponnese an ideal holiday location. It is a region drenched in sunlight, living by the sea year round! Peloponnese is consisted of 7 regions, namely Achaia, Corinthia, Arkadia, Argolida, Lakonia, Messinia and Hleia.
Situated in southeast Peloponnese, on the 5km long sandy beach of Mavrovouni. It is a self-sufficient universe completely immersed in the spirit of “philoxenia” which literally translates to "friend to the stranger" or "love of the stranger," derived from the Greek words philos (love/friend) and xenos (stranger/guest). While commonly translated as "hospitality," it represents a much deeper cultural and moral code than the translation implies. It is a core meaning and tradition. A Way of Life: It is a profound state of mind rooted in ancient Greek history, mythology, and religious duty, where welcoming outsiders was considered paramount.
All that it promises on its website is true; There is shade from the olive trees and a calm vibe everywhere including the Turtle Beach of which there is easy access, which is part of the Lakonikos Gulf, of the Mediterranean Sea all water sports are possible.
The bar and Restaurant are well equipped and staffed, menus change daily alongside classical Greek dishes all using ingredients of the locality. Prices are very reasonable when compared to mainland Europe. There is also a minimarket which supplies most daily requirements and more.
From an ecological point of view all boxes are ticked solar powered and immaculate sanitary facilities and strict recycling protocols.
This is the place to come to feel completely at home!
In the mornings, the sea is usually calm and ideal for swimming; in the afternoon, the wind picks up, making it more pleasant for servers. A very long sandy beach is situated along which the three campsites are located.
The only "drawback" is the distance of approximately 4 km to the charming town center of Gythion.
The reception staff were very accommodating, and one of the trainees even spoke French, which was a great help and support during our stay!
The restaurant offered fresh produce and a very extensive menu, as did the bar. The mini-market is large, and the staff are very friendly. The campsite was very clean thanks to the cleaning teams who came regularly throughout the day.
We'll be back next year!
The beach is just a 2-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient. The bathrooms and toilets are spotless, and there are washing machines available for guests.
The restaurant serves delicious, high-quality food with ingredients from their farm nearby, and the overall atmosphere is fantastic. I highly recommend this campsite! ⭐️
